In 2007, I set up BoBelle, a fair trade fashion accessories business. One of the many early challenges I faced was recruiting staff for the first time. In this article, I explain exactly how the recruitment and selection process works in reality, giving you, I hope, some useful tips on how to get the job you want.

In 2008, I was awarded a prize for being one of Striding Out’s Top 100 Entrepreneurs. Soon after, I was approached by representatives from Topshop who were interested in my products. The company then offered me a concession stand for BoBelle in its Oxford Circus branch.
