Preparing for the AS exams

This examination focus is relevant for the AQA Law 01 paper and OCR Law papers G151 and G152.

The first thing to appreciate is that there are no specific marks awarded for each point that you make. The examiner will be marking you for the general understanding that is shown in your answers. Try to address all your answers as though you are writing to someone who knows nothing about the topic, so you give as complete an answer as possible. It is a good idea to look at past questions and the examiners’ mark schemes as these will give you a good idea what the examiner is looking for when setting the question.
