Duchess of Sussex v Associated Newspapers (2021)

This case concerned the publication of extracts by the Mail on Sunday from a private hand-written letter sent by Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, to her father. The claimant stated that the publication of the letter was a misuse of private information and an infringement of her copyright. The court awarded the claimant a summary judgment in relation to the privacy claim.
