Burglary

Ian Yule highlights the common mistakes made when answering questions on burglary, and how to avoid them

Over many years as an examiner, I have come across too many answers on burglary which have provided examples of the major problems caused by confusion between s.9(1)(a) and (b) burglary and by lack of planning and poor exam technique.
