Strict liability offences

Ian Yule provides a detailed analysis of strict liability offences to aid your exam answers

This ‘Examination focus’ is relevant to AQA A-level 3.2 (criminal law) and OCR A-level Unit 1 (criminal law).

In many answers to Unit 4 questions on the concept of fault-based liability, candidates often describe strict liability offences in rather superficial terms and fail to provide a properly detailed analysis.
