This ‘Examination focus’ is relevant to AQA A2 Unit 4 and OCR A2 Unit G153.

In my experience as an examiner, I am always disappointed when able candidates fail to achieve the marks that they are clearly capable of. This usually happens because they omit either a whole key element of the potential content for a question, or they fail to identify an important issue within a potential content element. These omissions serve to underline the need for you to carefully study the scenario in problem-solving questions, and to spend time planning your answers.
