A-LEVEL LAW REVIEW celebrates Paula Blakemore’s shortlisting for the Law Teacher of the Year award

In 2015, for the first time in its history, an A-level law teacher was included on the shortlist for the Law Teacher of the Year award. Paula Blakemore, head of law at The Sixth Form College, Birkenhead, reached the last six from over 80 teachers nominated. Paula said:

The Law Teacher of the Year award is sponso by Oxford University Press, and aims to shine a light on the exceptional teaching going on in law schools around the UK and formally recognise the vital role played by law teachers in further and higher education.
