It is estimated that 10 million Britons have sleep problems, with an estimated 2% experiencing episodes of sleepwalking. Most of us think of sleep as a time to heal and rest, but sleep can sometimes have a dangerous and violent side. Homicidal somnambulism is the act of killing someone during a period of sleepwalking. Why is it that some people kill during their sleepwalking episodes?
